Snapshot of Waste

The American public should feel at ease that their hard earned tax money was spent wisely. The U.S. Census Bureau spent $2.5 million to produce this 30 second ad and have it shown during the Super Bowl.







This is part of a $300 million campaign by the Obama Administration to get the word out about the up-coming census. This had to be one of the worst ads ever. Generally speaking, the Census is used by the states to gather the necessary information to draw Congressional districts. They use it to draw gerrymandered districts like this....


It helps keep them in power instead of representing the actual population. This is actually pretty tame compared to most. It is a great example of how you can live on one side of the street and your across the street neighbor has a different representative.
This is stimulus money in action. At least the money isn't used on a fake Congressional District....
